Plough the land

Ploughing is one of the most IMPORTANT agricultural techniques that dates back to ancient times. By means of an agricultural tool named a “plough”, soil can be prepared for seed sowing or planting.

The main PURPOSE of ploughing consists in breaking and turning up the first layer soil in order to let soil incorporate AIR and bring FRESH nutrients up to the surface, bury leftovers of previous crops and CONTROL weeds.

Pros: Control over soil quality, more ergonomic, Easier to exclude pests, Less weeds, Portable

Cons: Expensive, dry faster, more fertilizer, plant outgrow container

Raised Bed

Pros: Control over soil quality, Easier to exclude pests, Deep soil for roots, more ergonomic, Less weeds

Cons: Expensive initial investment, require handy skill, not durable

In Ground

Pros: Deep soil for roots, Cheaper, more Flexible, large scale grower.

Cons: Pest and weed control difficult, Soil drainage problem.
